Juggs or Bownet

by sward » Thu Feb 24, 2011 4:05 pm

Looking at replacing my juggs net and was going to buy a bownet. Other than taking up less space in my car and garage, anyone have experience with it?

Bownet holds up much better in wind also... Much easier to handle, would recommend bownet any day

I just bought a BowNet. My old Juggs net was twisted one too many times and lost stability. and it was a big problem with the wind. This Bownet looks to be perfect. It just arrived today by UPS.

If you don't mind, where did you order it and what was the price? Thanks!

We moved to bownet about a year ago and love them. Much more stable than jugs and don't require being staked down in the wind like hurricanes. In south Texas the ground is so hard, you sometimes can't get the hurricanes to stay stable. Baseball savings, team express, etc all carry them. We got ours for about $140 but didn't have to pay shipping. When we go to tournaments, other teams borrow ours. No complaints.

Bownet is the way to go. Easy to setup and sturdy. Bought mine from a local guy in the Houston area.

What about the bownet with the sock. How does that one hold up?

Hurricane. We run 2 stations at once , less space. no wind issues. Love it!

Our California Travel Team has four Bownets. Prefer way more than Jugs. $140 going price on-line.
