Ya are right. I have talked to the parks supervisor about the web issue and giving teams other options for playing softball but there is no budging on the issue especially since the new Texas ASA commiss is his boss and is out of San Marcos.

A softball parent or two needs to make some noise about this and I'll bet they open it up. Sounds like a possible conflict of interest by someone who stands to benefit from exclusive use of public facilities. In the old days...we called it cronyism.

Or possibly the city is requiring more liability coverage than VTD offers. Sounds to me like the city is aware of all the possible liabilities with running a public park and with ASA offering 5 times the liability coverage it might be no real choice. Or maybe ASA actually has a national office instead of some guy running it out of his house in North Texas begging people for money to fund his operation. Just a thought!!! In the old days...we called it Good Business

ABSOLUTEY! Fastpitch 360.
the liability is a huge issue. Lots of nervous folks around in regards to VTD's insurance coverage. I don't think it has been tested yet so people want to be extra careful. Can't blame them.
By the way the tournamentmvp site is pretty easy to use. We like it.
