Best 12U Teams in NTX

In alphabetical order:

98 Glory
98 Pride
Fireballs
Fusion
Glory - Allen

I am sure there may be others since it's still early in the year but as of right now, I'd say that the 5 above would have the best chance of NTX teams to make a serious run at Nationals. This could all change of course over the course of the coming weeks.

I base my opinion on the consistency that they had shown during their 1st year in 12U.

I'd have to agree with liveintex, but Id also throw in BB Rhine. Outside of those teams who else? None that I have seen or heard, its just so water down in 12U 98 teams. But those mentioned would be serious contenders for Nationals IMO.

Has anyone seen 98 Texas Rip or 98 Tomboys play this year?
I heard both teams lost their #1 pitcher.

Tomboys #1 and #2 went to a new team called Vortex. They are new and not sure where the team is from but heard they have collected plenty of talent. There is defintelly plenty of shifting and from what as already occured this season nationals is wide open in 12U. Some of the favorites have been struggling. FB and Fusion are playing the best ball now. As we all know it has nothing to do with now but how you play in May, June and July.....it will be fun.

I forgot to add only team on this list that may not belong would be 98 Pride - they have very good pitching but have a stud catcher who is also their best hitter and she is a 97 - who knows how many other 97's they have. If you are going to broadcast your name as 98 play with all 98 players or below

Sure wish Glory Allen was in Pool A this past weekend to see how they stacked up against the strong 97's. How did they get into Pool B anyway?
