Not sure what Karma has to do with anything but I will say this, for my DD joining the OC Batbusers has been a terrific experience that has not only helped her grow as an athlete but as a teammate and a person.
I'm also not sure why all the concern that we are attending Western Nationals instead of continueing the pursuit for Midland.
Sure we were disappointed at not getting the berth that we went to TN for.
But after our loss in TN our Head Coach took our girls out for a night on the town to enjoy some of the Memphis sights while the parents had a poker game back at the hotel. When coach returned with them at abut 11:30 he sat with the parents and discussed college softball, he gave us pointers on getting through the high school experience and what we as parents can do for our girls right now.
We were up till 2 am listening to what he had to say and we had to be at the airport at 5 am for our flight home.
This tactic is sure to get you some play time.
Elite coaches understand that teaching young girls the game and getting them to the next level is what it's all about.
That's what we were told in January when we joined the team and for us those promises were kept.
One thing I could never imagine any of our Batbuster coaches doing is posting on Heybucket to dis/insult former 13 yo players ability. Can you imagine a Mike Schroeder or Mark Campbell or George Araujos doing that?
These coaches teams always have other teams gunning for them and will always have players with disgruntled parents yet these elite coaches have the self control and discipline to stay within themselves. That's what creates the respect that these coaches earn.
To me a the Head Coach of any organization should always represent their organization with class and decorum, something that was/is sorely lacking in our former "head" coach as evidence by some of the posts in this thread. Posts that are so juvenile in content that they use more emoticons and LOL's than the 13 year old girls that play for him.
It's really a shame and shameful for the Dynasty organization and I am sure that Angelo would be appalled.
So to close and be finished with this thread I 'll just say that we are proud to be affiliated with the Batbuster organization and if any of your DD's get the opportunity to play for one of their great teams I encourage you to do so. If not them pick an organization that defines class for your girls and will get them to the next level.
