I have two girls two different age groups and one played at Lincoln park and the other played at Noblesville. I was at both parks on Saturday at different times and my older daughter played in the rain on Saturday morning as did everyone else. The rains did get harder around noon and gameplay was suspended. It seemed to me as I was there and it was not raining and the radar was clear for the most part that it was silly to not at least attempt to get the fields in playable condition. I spoke to several coaches and parents who would have been glad to help in any way. We ended up playing 2 games and were in the losers bracket when the new brackets came out only using 3 of the 6 fields...... just felt like to me they were overwhelmed with the amount of work it would take to get the fields into shape. I do know that at Noblesville there were a lot of volunteers (players, coaches and parents) and I was not one of them. I was only commending them for doing a great job as it was obviously a fundraiser tournament for their organization and since they currently play they all know what it means to the kids and parents to get the games in.
