We received an e-mail today stating that there are not goint go be anymore fill in berths given. There are 135 teams entered.

berths were distributed as such:
After this final weekend of qualifiers, 128 berths had been awarded since qualifiers started in June. The TD in Owensboro then awarded 7 additional berths to regions geographically touching his own, and the final 3 berths went to teams of his choice, no doubt local teams. No word on who actually received the fill in berths, but we know they weren't CA teams.

Keep in mind that this is the first year where pool play doesnt count for seeding into the bracket

Really, I remember it going on now for at least a year. Is this the first time at 16u?

Must have been westerns only then. I know in Arizona they had two draws, one for pool play and one for elimination. SIGH. Can't always be right. Wait, guess i'm not right very often!!!
