Caught the action toward the end when parents were being "escorted" away from dugout by other parents of the team, BUT... It seems to have started in the breeze dugout between two players after one player was pulled in the middle of an inning to be replaced (possibly the catcher if i'm not mistaken) by another player. Source said once the player reached the dugout a fight between players broke out and when coaches tried to break it up parents then entered the dugout to "offer assistance"??? OR... just used the timing to display their frustration's on how they really felt about the "head" coaches decision making...??? Parents who entered dugout then began brawling each other.
It looked as if staff personnel escorted the parents involved out of the park then the police patrol "on bicycles" ensured them they were no allowed back into the park area.
Nevertheless the game was a close one against the 3rd place finisher's VOODOO... I personally feel the brawl took the wind out of the sails of the breeze who were ahead of their opponent at one point in the game, I believe ...
Very sad to see coming from a California team to say the least!!! But from what some other parents said, something like this was bound to happen due to the disliking of the head coach ...
Still VERY SAD TO SEE!!!

softbal1234 -- I am sorry but you have the information inaccurate. If you are going to post what happened at least post it correct. There was no arguement between the players.

Plus it is nobodys business on what happened.

And once again the adults screw it up for the kids but I'm sure they use every excuse in the book why it was okay for THEM to act that way. Way to represent Caifornia, next time stay home

Fortunately, I was walking back from delivering an ice chest full of water to our team from the right field warm up area when the initial malay began. I couldn't see why the umpires and all others were headed towards the 3rd base dugout for and I couldn't see from behind the 1st base bleachers and dugout to see EXACTLY what transpired. So my information came from one of our moms still seated behind the back stop!
So, 1st time poster... If you don't like it tell your team to have a little more dignity when traveling across the country to represent California!!!

Sure it is everyone's business. If it were up to me I would have every adult involved from the coachs to the parents who ran into the dugout, put them on stage in front of a 100,000 softball people, and explain why this is not good for the game of youth softball, end of story.

Correction ; It appears I left out the very beginning of the malay (my bad)... The head coach grabbed the mom coach during an argument between mom coach and head coaches dd which in turn caused head coaches dd and mom coaches dd to start fighting... So hubby of mom coach to enter dugout to interject so there are the FACTS FROM THE PEOPLE INVOLVED!!!
There, are you happy 1st time poster allaboutsoftballfun/untilabrawlbreaksoutidiot!!! :o :o :o
