Raiders Pink 12U (11U) Travel Team

Now forming the Raiders PInk 12U (11U) travel softball team...We have a core group of skilled athletes moving up from the 10U level, and we would like to add several more competitors. Raiders Pink will focus on learning, skills, and fun in order to win games and tournaments. We will have access to indoor and outdoor facilities for year round practice. The team will be led by State and National Softball champ, Becky Mateja-Lombardini, with the potential to add a knowledgeable parent to our coaching staff.

I would say a week late in that everyone has held tryouts and picked teams... Unless you want scraps. Yay another rec ball travel team!

Just to clarify...we have the majority of the team...looking to pick up two girls. Not that I have to justify myself to strangers, but for the benefit of others looking at this post.

I'm sorry, but I refuse to pay for the sarcasm font. The point I was trying to make is, teams haven't even been formed yet, and we already have a "team to beat".

Relax, you're in 12U now, as you move along, you'll find that life isn't as serious as 10U Softball. Get your team together, go play, go have some fun, but whatever you do, don't forget the cooler, whether you choose to fill it with adult beverages or Kool-Aide, is completely up to you.

Did you know there are two 12u teams? A black team and a pink team. Obviously a poster last week believes the black team is the team to beat but why does that make the pink team a week late?

As for being too late all you need to do is go over to the community page and look at all the team tryout listings and you will see there are quite a few teams up in the NWI and NCI areas which have yet to have try outs.
