Well, that just means that you smarter than a fifth grader! :D

I think my dd will do just fine and even her dad has grown up a bit since 2006.

When will Pearland play your dd's team this spring, or are you not willing to give up that information since nobody has ever been able to figure out who you are.

Is anybody willing to PM me if they know who Frito the Burrito is??

Go Pearland!!
If it ain't broke, why fix it??

We played and dropped a 1-0 game to a very good Alvin HS this past weekend in RR. We also split games with Tomball HS and those girls worked their way back to a fourth place finish after playing all day Saturday and Sunday. They showed alot of determination and heart. We drove from El Paso to play some of the best teams out there and I would say both of these teams represented the Houston area very well. If these teams are any indication of the season to come, its going to be a good one in the Houston area.

@ Bleacher Creature, this the Warden. My DD played with Reggie and the rest of the Hawks in your last season with the Hawks. We are now in El Paso!! Keep an eye out for El Paso Americas HS.

We played EP Americas at RR the last game of the winners bracket Saturday night. We lost 5-4 in ITB. EPA was the best team we played all weekend. We would get up and they just kept coming back. Who ever #8 is for EPA was a beast all night.
We lost to Autin Bowie on Sunday as our pitcher ran out of gas in the 2nd inning and our hitting went cold. Great tourny with lots of good teams

Thanks for the compliments ALEDO. I will be sure to share them with the girls. #8 is Jade Rodriguez, she is a 2012 and will be playing for the UTEP Miners next year. That was indeed a great game.

About 15 other teams... The question I would ask is:

Who can challenge Tomball this year?

These three for starters
Plano
Alvin
Austin Bowie

Lots of seniors to make happy this year in Tomball. The politics could affect what happens on the field. I'm just sayin'

Funny how that since your DD does not play for Tomball this year the tune has changed a little.

It is GREAT thing that the season is getting started and the girls can take the field and have their play do the talking rather than have a bunch of EGOCENTRIC parents spout off about which team is the real thing and which isn't. But then, if that didn't happen why would I be here??????????

Within the Woodlands district should not be much of a change, Kingwood will challenge them the most.

55 should be about ready to return at the start of District play, now if her parents let her is another matter...let’s see UCLA full ride vs. hs senior season....hmmmm. Woodlands has only lost two seniors from last year so they can still hit and play defense, the freshman pitcher is good, but can't hold up to seven innings without the other teams figuring her out, so it will be interesting to see what happens. They graduate several in May, so it will be interesting to see what happens next year.

Oak Ridge picked up some talent, 2 big bats, one with solid defense and a freshman that is really fast, all made varsity.

Kingwood has very good senior pitcher who has a full ride with Texas Tech when she is done. In coming freshman group is probably the strongest in District, but Coach said before tryouts they would all play JV, period. Some of those girls would take a starting V spot on most teams. Don't know if she held to that statement.

College Park is starting over, new head coach, trying to establish a new direction and work ethic for the program. Picked up a good catcher who transferred in, and two freshman who will make an impact, one a pitcher the other an outfielder/slapper with speed. Program still a ways off and will take time to turn around.
