When do you call off the dogs?

Am I out of line for being frustrated at the Bloomington South coach for exploiting the Columbus East team a couple of weeks ago? The double header total score was around 65 to 0?

That is a bit excessive.

Bobby Bowden, famous for running up the score while football coach at Florida State, when asked about it he said "It's not my job to slow down my offense. That's your job."
Ladies, if a man tells you he will fix it, he will fix it. There is no reason to remind him about it every six months.

This is always a tough one. In my daughters High School league we have 3 very weak teams. Those games are very hard to watch. Our team carries 16 players so about half are benchwarmers most of the time. These are their games to play and they want to show the coach what they can do. They don't want to dummy down their game. They want to play. As a coach it's hard to slow them down espeicaly since High School rules here state a mercy as 15 after 5 innings. Yes you have to play 5. So scoring 5 runs an inning is not to difficult and a 25-0 game is not uncommon.

In Indiana it is 8 after 5. This is ignorant!!!!!! You play your girls and if you know it is a weaker team and your up you pull the stars and play the subs along with the "non stars". When its 15-0 it's time to start stepping off bases. Who in the he** wants to be there for 4hrs to play, watch, or even ump an obvious overmatched blowout. Get the run rule win and go home. The only thing you can hope is that someone turns the tables on this moron and does the same to them! After all, it's not like your talking about a powerhouse Bloomington South team!

You should know how to lose with class and how to win with class!!!!!!

Last season there was some discussion on this board about the following game:

HSE 31
Westfield 0

Later in the season Westfield beat Fishers 9-4 so they must not have been scared too bad.

Second round score from the Noblesville sectional:

Fishers 4
HSE 3

Insert statement about karma here...
