Good point on the OK Diamond Girls. I bet they did not show up for the tourney. No real surprises that I see so far.

I was told Diamond Girls qualified last week so they didn't show up. Couldn't find anything online but that is what the message was at the coaches meeting.

Can anyone confirm that the LA Blazers beat the Storm? I was lead to believe by a parent on the Storm that they won that game

Brackets show, Blazers beat Texas Storm Wymer 9-1. Blazers have a pitcher throwing mid 60s with a break in the ball. Hard to hit unless the umps squeeze the plate. Umps did not do this at this tourney. I did not see this game, so it is possible there could be a mistake.

There are many surprises from past play and from teams that have qualified in prior years.

Underperformers/Overperformers from last weekend
Houston Power Glowacz, Bancroft Elite, Texas Hawks - playing much better ball
Centex Buzz - did not show up to play.
There were definitely a couple of no shows.

Texas Peppers looked strong against Sudden Impact.
Texas Bombers looked strong against Texas Blaze

This is a very interesting tourney. Wish it was at one park.
