This is sad to hear. We spent a lot of time with the parents and coaches of this team at Nationals this year and they were a good group of people and these girls can definitely play ball. I wish all these girls the best in locating a new team.

We are a nationwide board. There is too much going on in the US w/o trying to figure out 12U in Deer Park TX. Don't you have a local board or a newspaper that you can write letters to the editor to?

He was a very good pitcher as well, saw him pitch a couple of times. But a friend of the family from that area always said to us "yeah, but wait til you see his brother". Years later Andy appeared in MLB.

Have to agree that was a pretty ironic post. If there really is "too much going on in the U.S. w/o trying to figure out 12U in Deer Park TX," why click on a thread entitled "How about those rumors about TPS 12U from Deer Park Tx" at all, let alone weigh in on the subject?

And unless I'm misremembering, TPS fielded a top 5 12U team at ASA Nats this year...which may not make Deer Park an important town in the grand scheme of things, but it certainly makes its softball worth talking about on Heybucket.
