We dont know that she left UCLA voluntarily. If she wanted to stay in SoCal there aren't really a lot of options. She did well to avoid the morass at Fullerton.

Cal Poly is a good school, but better is obviously subjective.

If you have ever been there you know exactly why she would want to go there. Agree that Cal Poly program is much better than Fullerton.

Hear that the Cal Poly program is HORRIBLE!!! I know that the UCLA coaches had their issues, but I also hear that the Cal Poly head coach is a real whack job. Just wondered why she'd want to leave UCLA for that??? At least UCLA is in the Pac 12 and is, well, UCLA, more prestige.

Yes. Definately in the real world. UCLA is one of the top academic schools in the country, with incredible alumni support and name recognition throughout the world. (No, I didn't attend nor do I have any affiliation.)

They may have some great alumni support, but I would not even consider it one of the top 50 academic institutions in the country(film-making not withstanding)
