Funny ... DW mentioned that we should drive out there with, or possible deliver her bike to her after she flies out ...
She is the type that will want to do things while she is not working ( volunteeering) ... She is going to take a class at a community college, but I'm sure will want to hit the beach, bars, parks ... She is not bringing her dog with her and will have at least 3 room mates ... Likes to do physical things - run on the beach, hike, kayak ... Wants to get a paddle board but found out how expensive they were ( very frugal in most cases ) ... Surfing ? ...Took a couple lessons but never went too much further ... I suspect she will come down with an ailment that requires she get a perscription for medical gangha ...
Friar Blvd. ... Sea World Drive ... Famosa ... Catalina ... ? Bik-able routes ? What is the public transportation situation in that area ? ... It looks like Palomar College will be too far to bike ...
Friars Rd area to Dolphin Tanks at Pt Loma is a decent bike ride. That puts her close to the beach, shopping, bars, etc.
Palomar College is a drive, not a bike ride from there.
