She should stay in rec if she is only hitting 61 in 12u. The new standard is a 10u averaging in the 70s

My initial thought was that she's clearly Canadian.

Nevertheless comma he mused calmly to himself comma I will take a wild stab at the original post, throw in the olive branch of civility (to some degree) and offer:

- pitcher does very well against her current peer players

- someone guessed or commented to the OP that the pitcher throws hard (for her age) and it looks like "about 63-65" as a pure, swag guess. likely from someone who hasn't watched much travel ball or college ball live but saw it on TV a couple times... regardless, OP is given a compliment about a talented DD and runs with it a bit... that's ok....

- neither the OP or anyone offering commentary on speed has any viable reference point, such as watching this pitcher and then watching Ricketts live (or, or, or....)

- or... this person enjoys, eh, a properly chilled Molson, eh, wears flannel and proud of it, eh... and gets to see moose on a regular basis, eh...

or not.

Lyn-Z S. wrote:My DD is moving into second year 12's. She's a pitcher. Fastball around 63-65. Hits locations pretty well. But, misses out of the zone consistently with her rise ball. Do you think she's ready for the move, or should I keep her another year in rec?

What area of the country are you in ? Would your DD like to play 23U in VA next year ? We pay for motels, meals, and for perscription meds for pitchers father & mother ...

Ginnie's comment was funny, too, but I just wish this string would die.

In my estimation the OP just started it to see how much reaction he could get from a fictitious post.

I know how much we all want the return of the Ray-Ray string and its comic delights, but Lyn-Z seriously lacks the refreshing delusional honesty that stickerz22 brought to the table.
