As promised....

The 02 Gators are the best 10U team in the state of Indiana. I want to tip my hat to Mr. Linton and his girls. Very few 10 year-old teams have the mental and physical toughness to play that many games in one day and keep winning. WAY TO GO!! The target is squarely on your back.

That being said, we also go to see that, besides the Gators, there are some pretty good teams at this age level in the satate of Indiana. Let's all work hard and maybe sweep some national tournaments this year. What do you say?

Ok now that the mash is over lets see how we rank the 10u teams. Now it my opinion the gators are not the best team out there. I do believe that are a solid team and did make fewer errors then others. They play the game well but they are not a normal dominating gators team and are very beatable. The Zepherys where a team of both 12u and 10u girls so we cant rank them. Now after watching the whole weekend of playing and each team. These would be my rankings

1.Mafia Red
2.Red Storm
3.Crush
3.Terror
4. Edgewood Blaze

Gators 02 was beat in pool play by edgewood but do to weather and drop dead it reverted back. And then was put in looser by Terror. Mafia Red ran away from teams on Saturday i think scoring 29 runs allowing 1 they hit the ball hard and pitching is good their #1 is going to be real good come spring but sunday it was a different team that showed up and they did not start their best pitcher #12 which was the mistake against the zephyers and had alot of mental errors and against the gators the score does not reflect that game it was 6-4 till a melt down by the mafia girls. Red storm started weak and got it together sunday for their first tourney they find another pitcher could get better. Crush and terror played well still have not seen anything real big out of those two teams was not overly impressed by there pitching bats were ok. Edgewood Blaze looked good at first then just feel apart they will be a team to deal with they hit the ball and have a good core of pitching by spring they could be leading.

Mafia Red was very tough last game.
Would like to keep extending congrats to Gator02Coach for another win.
This weekend USFA 7gg has some good competition. Should be fun!

Todd I can not say I have seen you guys play sounds pretty good so far though Number 5 dad sounds like you are a gators parent I do not have a child on any of the teams I ranked now did you guys come back yes but you are not a unbeatable team that has been said. I did not write that based on the results of the mash just what I saw from all the games played. The 10u division is going to be tough and hard this year I will say that.
