Ronald McDonald 18U Gold

by 93players » Sun Oct 21, 2012 9:01 pm

Donnie is right. Any Texas team worth seeing or playing is there and many coaches from around the country are there. At 16U, our DD's team played a serious team first and after totally dominating that team, coaches followed us around for the rest of the weekend. Teams and players can create some serious buzz. At 18U, the coaches come see the recruits play. After all, they want to make sure you have grown into the player they thought they were signing. If you are not with the team or on the bench, they may recruit another person at your position. Playing well on the big stages is very important for coaches.

For those who are interested, i just posted Dyess and Collins Park. Try to be fair to everyone, its tough with so many teams.
Enjoy the Tournament!

Is the schedule right? There is a 9:30 p.m. game following an 8:40 p.m.

I have no doubt it's really hard to put this together with the number of teams that attend. That said, I'm certain a lot of people would be really interested to hear your view on how you decide who plays who and where they play. Would you elaborate?

There is a big difference between affording organizing teams and friends some typical courtesies and being a PIG. That is the difference between having class in spreading wealth and being able to stand up in front of a crowd and not be embarrassed about taking all of the bennies.

Has anyone seen a current list of colleges/universities who are attending the 18U RMcD?
