Ronald McDonald 18U Gold

These are from the Triple Crown Rankings from the Triple Crown website. You saw field assignments are based off of rankings and loyalty. Rankings are below and many of these teams have not attended but a hand full of RMD tournaments.

I agree with trying to match teams of the same caliber to play each other and the formula of ranking/loyalty get thrown aside at times. You have forgot to add in other points of your formula. People who have pissed of Lample, people who don't buy things from Lample, people that speak out against Lample and I am sure many other things.

When will softball get back to being about players, education, and the future instead of super ego's of old men in certain "mega organization" scratching each others back. Trying to build a retirement off of fastpitch softball.

And NET profits is the key word to your statement. NET profits can be just about anything you chose.

You truly believe it because you truly make a fortune off of it. Make the profits public, lets see how much is going to the RMD house. Lets see how much you make and how needed it in in this area.

1- The Gold Coast Hurricanes in pool A are ranked 5th not 159th.

2- How much money did your organization donate to their charity of choice. Please post a copy of the check for proof.

3- Lastly, Lampl said that rankings were A factor in to where teams are placed, not the only factor. Loyalty (how long the teams had supported the RM) and competetiveness (if that's a word) were the others. Since how competetive a team can be is subjective that gives them the freedom to do what they want.

MavFan,

Mistake on my Part, Sorry Gold Coast Hurricanes.....

......I don't believe I ever said he based everything off of the rankings.

And I will post mine after he posts his. He said it was public information. Why not make it public and shut every one up. I am not the first or last to ask questions about JL and the RMD.

Then why go through the trouble of posting each team at Collins and their TCS ranking? Like I said, when you provide something subjective like competetiveness, it gives you the leeway to do what you want.

If you are that interested in their finances then call the man up. He has provided you his number. You can get the info and post it on here if you want to.

I find it humorous that the reason people are questioning their financials is based on what park and field their kid is playing a softball game.

If you are that damn worried he is a thief why don't you call someone at Ronald McDonald House and have them start an investigation, hell call one of the local news programs and have them do the leg work.

I myself hope he is making a zillion bucks - because his group is providing a heck of a service as well as donating a s load of money to RMD. The stuff he said he looks at on scheduling is the exact stuff he told me years back when i was bringing a team up there. I agree, MF, if they are that worried about the financials, go somewhere else. I know for absolute sure where the coaches will be - I have seen them at RMD, at every field that we have been scheduled at - and we were no big dog team. But the kids (or someone in the family did) wrote to the coaches and the coaches came to watch. If they didnt come - then the problem is somewhere else other than where Jonathan is scheduling you.

Edited to add: - one more thing , there is really nothing to putting on tournaments the size and scope of RMD, so if you dont like what Jonathan et al are doing, pony your ass up and start one yourself. Hell, you'll be rich in no time.

Again, you said that I said it was based off the rankings. You are fighting yourself of that topic. I never said it.

I never called him a thief. I asked a question and that was it. If it is public, then make it public. Post it on Hey Bucket.

Humorous, glad the little things can make you laugh. I based all of my replies off of the Lampl posting. It bothered me that he put his spin on field selections and I had some time to kill so I thought I would check it out. My kid is long gone from select softball. I just enjoy Hey Bucket.

Last time I checked I can say what I want, when I want and to whomever I want.

Your right, you can say whatever you want and to whomever you want whenever you want. Just don't get butt hurt when someone calls you out on it.

You have two numbers to call to get the information you are so interested in having. But I am betting you won't call either number.

Insinuating that there is something improper going on. Its a charitable contribution. Saying all net profits go to Ronald McDonald House is good enough for most.

I have no clue what Butt Hurt is but thanks for the warning. I will be on the look out for the butt hurt guy.

If someone gets this defensive when they are asked about profits, other people should worry.

To respond to DonnieS: I never got into softball to make money ( I know you did not either). I will say it again, I never doubt money is donated to RMD house. The donations are a great thing.

If you make 3 zillion dollars and you donate your net profits to something, how much are you donating? Your salary could be 1 zillion dollars, running costs could be 1.5 zillion and a donation could be half a zillion dollars. I agree half a zillion is better than zero, but is it the best thing.

MavFan, you do not know who I will call or not call. If I walk into a Non Profit and give them a check for $100,000 they are not going to ask where I got it from. They are going to take the check.

I was just checking into HeyBucket for a minute ( over an hour ago) and it has turned into a whole thing. So Blah Blah Blah.....who cares anymore. Love the RMD tourny, Hate the RMD tourny....Make your own decision.
