They are calling for snow South & West of us ... I'm hearing estimates ranging from 8 inches in South Western VA to 2-3 feet in West Va mountains ... I'm guessing that is for around Snow Shoe Mountain where they get the leke effects ... Rain & wind are in a stop mode here

 this belongs in Monday morning Funnies.
Not to make light of the storm, but to put the emegency evac center in a flood zone and evacuate before the storm even hits... Well, that's just governmental planning for you.

Winds expected to be over 40mph starting midday- gusts to 70

Prayers for all of you in the path of this storm. Stay safe!

I thought it was funny too, but they are the biggest thing in the area that can house anyone who wasn't smart enough to get away.

Just got word about an hour ago that my kid has lost power. I have no contact with her now. She is trying to save her battery for emergencies.

What state is your daughter in? Are you out on the West Coast? Hang in there!
