Let's be honest. You were not in Huntington last weekend. Anyone could've wrote what you wrote after seeing the scores posted on Spysoftball. Not saying Lady Magic is not legit BUT Grapettes were missing a lot of their girls and they have given the magic a run for their money as well as sting and sorcerers. Believe me, their is going to be some talking going on soon with all the girls from Nor Cal changing teams and doing what JM did only a few weeks post fall. Nor Cals loss is So Cals gain put it that way! Their it is in a nut shell!

A few comments:
"BUT Grapettes were missing a lot of their girls and they have given the magic a run for their money" sounds like "we were close, but not quite good enough". If so, aren't you agreeing with DHB?
While you may see movement around NorCal, I don't think you'll see to much from LM. They have a core group that's been together for years, and while there maybe one or two who move away from LM, I think there will be more movement towards them. Particularly having had only 11 players on the roster this fall, with 7 of them now committed to D1 schools.

Of course teams are not playing their summer squads at this point and time, and I completely realize that winning in the fall does not amount to much. Coaches are playing their youngsters for sure which is the way it should be in the fall. However from what I have seen of all the "top" Nor Cal clubs in Stockton, and out at the Sting Exposure deal I stand by my statement.
Which is the Lady Magic looks like the team to beat "right now" as the rosters sit today. They have handled all the "top" Nor Cal teams during the fall beating all of them. Now does that mean they will have the same success in the summer, not necessarily, but I would say they have a good chance to be successful this summer, they have a good "Gold" squad.
This summer is a totally different animal and we all realize that and from what I'm hearing there will be a tremendous amount of movement within the "top" Nor Cal clubs. Hopefully Nor Cal is able to consolidate their talent and put together a squad that can get it done this summer.
For those that look to go to So Cal, good luck, they obviously dont need our help as they have more than enough players in So Cal to field winners but if that is what you want to do then so be it. Me personally, I'm a home town guy, and I would love to see Nor Cal do it, so hopefully we can put a team together that can finish strong.

I agree and I think Magic will be the best team ever coming from Nor Cal.

I see that Coach Rebstock has decided to join the Sting staff. That should make things a lot more interesting. It will definitely help them in the long run.

Coach Rebstock is a long time, real long time, softball coach and very respected men's fastpitch pitcher. His teams are known for having discipline and knowing how to play the game. Two years ago he took a first year high school team to a Section championship, easily one of the top coaches around.
