Primetime Elite Black was told at home plate at start of championship game that the game was 1 hr 15 min no new. This was after our scorekeeper asked if it was 7 innings and was told no. Also 18u championship game was the same 1 hr 15 no new.

Have you ever watched a doctor inject a 7 inch long needle into the joint in your daughter's shoulder? I have...twice. I never allowed my kid to throw 4 games in a day, but I allowed her to throw too much. My kid paid for my ignorance with scars on her shoulder and hands.

Hopefully this young lady's parents will learn to stand up and protect their child. Much more is known about overuse injuries today than even 5 years ago. This kid shouldn't throw more than one game in a day.

No to the needle question, and I hope I never have to.

I don't agree with their decision, especially since I saw another girl on their team warming up before games and she was throwing well, but the girl hung tough and never looked uncomfortable to me. I was surprised when I saw her take the circle in her third game, but then heard they threw her again in the Championship game.

I personally would not want my DD to throw more than two games in a day, but as stated on the other post, we have three quality pitchers, each pitched a game for us yesterday, so no overuse issues on our team. One of them would have had to throw another game if we had made it to the finals though.

Age doesn't matter....7 innings max.
