It really can't take more than a minute start to finish otherwise it loses impact and interupts the flow of practice ... But some of these suggested tunes would be good for a team bonding where they had time to learn and prepare ... I think the Hokie Pokie & maybe the Sponge Bob song would work if they know it ... We weren't a Sponge Bob household, so I'm out of the loop on that ... Any other ideas ?

Friday song ? Chicken Dance ? What are they ? Macarena ..... hmmmmm ? Do 13-17 year olds know that dance ? That might work

The Tomato Song

LOL...You probably won't like it but just a thought. It's kinda wordy. My other ideas were taken so what the hay. Here you go...enjoy... :D

You know, that's what my kid said when I showed up at a tourny dressed like this. I didn't understand...

How about this song?

Hello, Mr. President we honor you today!
For all your great accomplishments, we all doth say "hooray!"

Hooray, Mr. President! You're number one!
The first black American to lead this great nation!

Hooray, Mr. President we honor your great plans
To make this country's economy number one again!

Hooray Mr. President, we're really proud of you!
And we stand for all Americans under the great Red, White, and Blue!

So continue ---- Mr. President we know you'll do the trick
So here's a hearty hip-hooray ----

Hip, hip hooray!
Hip, hip hooray!
Hip, hip hooray!

Is that supposed to be sung to the old tune ' Rosin' the Beau ' ? Seems like the old Lincoln & Liberty song ... In any event, no ... I'm pretty sure 13 to 17 year old high school gals couldn't even humm a bar of that ... But ya never know, I've got several in Orchestra

"The Wheels on the Bus" might work - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEtuXrV_KnM

You and/or the winners can prompt them with the standard questions or make up some new ones.

LOL ... I've got gals on a Varsity team that never touched a ball until the first day of tryouts ... It's hard enough to get them to remember to catch and throw, let alone remember the words to Gitarzan ... But a classic none the less ...

Yep ... Good one ... The wheels on The Bus ! .... Not only can the winning teams ask the questions but there is potential for goofy animations ... It may be especially appropriate because I'm driving the bus ... They were short bus drivers and since I already had my CDL I just needed to get a P & S endorsement ... Plus I found out bus driving pays better than coaching
