Anyone played at the indoor complex in Lafayette? How big is it? How is the turf?

So how did everyone do this past weekend? Any teams that stood out. We got to play until 730 Sunday evening at the Dome, so it was a good weekend for us. Shockwaves93 are some hitting fools. Fun to watch.

Yeah, they looked really strong and should play deep into nationals this year..! The Ft. Wayne Fire looked much improved this year too. Not sure what the final results were, but there is definitely alot of parity that should make for some interesting games this year at 16u in Indiana. There must be at least a dozen teams that are all pretty close, I think pitching is going to be the difference...there were several teams that didn't play this weekend ( Dreams, Explosion '93, Gators, Elite, Velocity, Raiders Black, Wizards, Inferno, Chaos.....) that will really spice things up also..!

One a month for us, so as not to bore the girls to death with practice, practice, practice. January in Indy, February at the Ft. Wayne dome and March in the Dragon Dome (Pekin, IL). The last two years (at 12U) we have strictly played in Indy. Looking forward to the other two venues as we have heard good things about them.

Played at the Sportzone over the weekend. First tournament since the Mash in October. Finished second to Team Indiana Blue. First time we have played them and they gave us a good ole a** whuppin. Good defense and good hitters. Did not get to see a number of the other 18u teams because of the around the clock schedule.

We played a Dreams team in the semis over the weekend at the Sportzone. I assume it was Dreams-Lemming, but I could be wrong. Figured they were probably playing up. Pretty good team.

The Terror are the most improved team from August till now. They made a coaching change and rebuilt their team. It is nice to see that happen. I know they have worked really hard.

Gators beat the Fire 10 out 10 times hands down.

Absolutely no way the velocity, elite, pride, or inferno, could hang with the Gators, Chix, Chaos, wizards.
