OC BATBUSTERS AT CA 96 GAME

I saw the entire OC Batbuster team over by the CA96 dugout in the middle of their game, they came on the field and I just wanted to know what that was all about..? It was after their game with the Rebels, thought they were going to start a rumble or something, just kidding, but I am wondering because it was weird.

It was one of the nicest gestures I have seen they were bringing a get well gift to Mel a CA player that was injured the day before during the game vs Jesse's team. The brought her a get well stuffed animal and wanted to give their well wishes. Unfortunately Mel broke her leg in three places and will be out awhile but thanks again to the Bat Busters it was truly a class act.

That was very classy of them, was it a play at the plate? I heard your team had some injuries, but didn't realize that serious. Didn't one of your pitchers get injured as well? Is she okay?

Thanks for asking and it was a play at the plate. She will be out for quite some time its broken in three places. Earlier in game pitcher was hit by a line drive in the knee. It was sore and hurt but not seriously injured to my knowledge.

Wow, I hope she recovers quickly and hope your team gets it all together in the Spring. You have a lot of talented players, some big bats and should do well next year. I always enjoy watching your team play and your coaches and parents are tops. Take care of your girls!

Thanks for your concern and nice words about our team. DD is good, minor swelling and lovely purple, red and blue bruising, but nothing too serious - motrin, ice and a little rest and she will be just fine.
