I started a thread before this one questioning molded or metal and wanting to know which brands were good. Tuscon came back with Ringor having a new cleat that is made with mesh. Still has the pitching toe and looks to be much lighter. They have it in my dd school colors too. She was told that the varsity girls all had to get the right colors which worked out great for us. I'll let you know how these work out in 7 to 10 days (HAHAHAHAHA). They are the Diamond Gem.

When I first played softball in 1964, as a 10 YO, all we had were metal cleats. ASA didn't switch to rubber until around 1980. I, too, liked the click, click, click on concrete and asphalt.

I once went running into the ER though, with them on, and they are not a good choice to wear on marble floors. :D
