I'm with you Nzane, we do not get our DD's anything related to softball. Our life revolves around softball year-round and they get everything they need/want as needed. We try to reflect on what CHRISTmas is all about and try to get them the special things they really wanted when we had to say “No” during the season due to all the softball expenses.

Oh, I guess the answer would then be, cameras, cell phones and fancy smancy purses(yuck!) Theses stinking purses cost more than a bat!

Merry Christmas to all!

DD did not get anything softball related. But I got a catcher protector seat for my bucket! Now I can catch with confidence (or at least a little less fear).
Ice cream?! When the f**k did we get ice cream?!

Yea, exactly. I feel the same way. All year, our life revolves around this sport(wouldn't have it any other way). So, at Christmas she gets basically EVERYTHING she asks for every year, lol!! Although the bat and glove were close to Xmas, neither counted.......

She was so excited!!! she got her batting helmet painted(air brushed). I also found(took forever) those long knee pad by trace. She also recieved a one year supply of window paint for our trips to the field, But the best of all, The team decided to put their nicknames on their shirts. Softball is so great! :)

We do not give her any Softball related gifts for Christmas as she needs to have a day away from the sport. She did get a new Worth Quad Double Wall bat at the begining of December.

If I left a bat under the tree, I'd get blugeoned to death in my sleep with it.
