To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone:
888-382-1222

It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time.

It blocks your number for five (5) years.

You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked.

You cannot call from a different phone number.

I dont know if it's bad thing like you'll be charged for calling that number. I do know that there is not a national do not call list for cell phones.

This absolutely works....I did it when it first came out with all of our cell phones and none have received any solicitation calls.... Yeah, strange, something the government got right!

I never registered with any "cell phone national do not call list" nor have I ever received a telemarket phone call on any over our cell phones.

The local sheriff thought he was doing a good thing and printed that Do Not Call info (for cell phones) in the paper. People called it and some company got all of their numbers and sent them out to all kinds of spammers.

I am wondering if some cell phones couldn't pick up viruses, too.
