Congrats to our Indiana college players

Chanda Bell sets a new school K record with 15 against UNLV last weekend. I wonder if Craig saw it or if he was on a hot streak at the roulette table. LOL

Erika Silence and Kristin O'Haver both have been mentioned for their contributions on the UK softball website alos. All three are playing at Kentucky.

Rebecca Butler Morehead State makes all tournament team in last weekend's play and is nominated for OVC player of the week honors.

Tori Collins has started the college season 3-0 with Louisville.

Morgan Melloh is 2-0 with a 0.00 era at Fresno State.

Indiana State- Armour, Garringer, Biesler and Marcum were all mentioned in their opening weekend.

Help me out here fellow bucketeer's as I am sure I have missed more and really haven't had the time to check up on all our Indiana kids from the first two weekends of college play, but do want to make sure they get mentioned for their efforts.

Chanda broke the season strikeout record. And also threw the first no-hitter in school history.

Saw Purdue's Alicia Spack (West Lafayette HS) hit a game tying double against Michigan on the Big Ten Network today. It was a replay of yesterday's second game in which Michigan won in nine.

Freshman Erin Falkenberry capped the rally with a two-run, home run, her school-record 10th of the season.

Congratulations, it's nice to see Indiana players making a difference in college.

We saw Erin hit two last weekend against Green Bay. That swing is a thing of beauty. If you want to watch to some local girls in action, catch a Butler game.
