US festival was pretty cool, Jay Giles band right after Love Stinks came out.

Worst was Lynyrd Skynyrd New Years eve with most of their speakers blown out was the worst. The sound was terrible.

Live Bar show- Greg Kihn Band

Probably my favorite concert I've been to was my second AC/DC show (Summer of '90, right after Razor's Edge album). They've always been one of my favorites, plus, the wife (girlfriend at the time) and I were on the 2nd row, which is the closest I've ever been for a "real" concert.

We were on the end of the row, and the speakers were on the floor, so we were about 10 feet or less from the speakers. It was a little loud.
Proud fastpitch, baseball, volleyball, soccer, basketball, etc. Dad :)

This is sooooooo hard.....so i am going to cheat!

Best:
Scorpions, Iron Maiden(orig singer), GirlsSchool at the long beach arena 1980??
Tool at the Wiltern in LA - Front Row center balcony(snuck in a big bottle of jack....could sit or stand as I pleased.....was awesome).

Worst:
Molly Hatchet at a local joint in the Marina. Danny joe brown was so drunk he introduced Flirtin with Distater as......Flirtin with yerrrr sisterrrrrrr

Club/Bar:
Joe Satriani at the Whiskey right after Surfin with the Alien came out...Stu hamm on bass( I am a huge RUSH fan...but Stu make Geddy look like a child).

Bush at the Dragonfly Club in Hollywood - record release party and their first gig in the states. I got invited by the label who I did print work for at the time and they played for over 2 hours with maybe 50-75 people there. Not my favorite band ....didn't even know their music at the time.....but blew my mind.
I'm gonna take this right foot, and I'm gonna whop you on that side of your face...and you wanna know something? There's not a damn thing you're gonna be able to do about it!

Okay ... since cheating is now the norm ... I'm also going with the Stray Cats at this little dive in Passaic, NJ ... got there 2 hours before the show ... the sign at the door said Max occupancy 250 people and there were already 400 there and still packing in ... they closed the bar an hour before the show because no one could get to it without a fight ( bad idea, now everyone is in a real good mood ) ... you could feel the floor sagging and swaying under your feet and there was NO-WAY to get to the door or bathroom ... I'm not sure if the AC stopped working or it just couldn't keep up ... when they sang " ya look at me once, ya look at me twice, ya look at me again and there's gonna be a fight " ... well ... the sh*t hit the fan ... great show ...

Best Live Bar Show is at Crazy Girls on La Brea, just south of Sunset.
No live music, but you won't care. ;)
Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.

I was at both of those.
1977 - 8th grade-1st concert--anaheim stadium - Frampton, Foghat, Rick Derringer, J Geils
couldnt figure out what the people in front of me were passing around...

1981 - LA Coliseum - the aformentioned Stones, J Geils, George Thoroughgood, and of course, Prince in his jock strap, lingerie, trench coat ensemble, with shoes being thrown at him (got there late, missed it)...

and I will add:
REO Speedwagon Long Beach Arena, 1981 or so. really really good. i think a band called Blue Steel opened and were pretty good too.
U2 -1984-LA sports arena, 1985-Long Beach Arena, 1987-LA Coliseum-all awesome
Santana, 1981 anaheim convention ctr
Rush, 1981 Long Beach Arena
and Pat Benitar LA Forum early 80's, just remember they were much better than I thought they would be...

a couple great shows at small clubs
the old Golden Bear in Huntington Beach - David Lindley, Plimsouls

saw the Outlaws in 1990, Lake Tahoe on my honeymoon, they were pretty good.

bad show:
Judas Priest - Long Beach Arena, early 80's-came out on a motorcycle-blech..
