Best Pub you ever been in

Sorry ... gotta add one or two as I LMAOWIOAB ... I was only there twice ... but The Top Of The Hill Tavern because I met my mate there and The Neshanic Inn in Neshanic NJ because they have 3 pool tables and thats where I went to wait for my friend after his Porche broke down for the millionth time while he was lighting it on fire and needed a ride back to the Neshanic Inn ... ooops... One more ... I'm sure its not there anymore, but the Gra-Lee Tavern in Milltown NJ ... Grace and Lee would lock the doors at 10, if you were there, you could stay, but no one else came in ... they would unlock the doors to let you out ... they had 16 oz Hacker Pschor Weiss beer ... mmm mmm mmm

The Oaken Bucket in South Bend, IN. Great food, cold beer, pool tables and pinball in the basement. During the summer an outdoor deck overlooking the river and there was always a game of "Ship, Captain & Crew" being played at the bar. My friends and I would go there before we were of legal drinking age. They gave free beer to you on your birthday so one of my brighter friends told the barkeep that it was my 21st birthday. He knew us as regulars, got pissed that we had been coming there before our time and threw us out. This same friend produced his fake ID's at another bar while wearing his HS letter jacket Also the "Bucket" is the only place that I ever got picked up in. And no, she didn't end up as my wife!

Okay that makes me add one more memory .. er, uh .. place ...The River Road Tavern in Piscataway, NJ ... Where a gal I never saw before came up to me out of the blue and said " Basically, all I want is for somebody to take me home and give me a good ... "

The It'll Do Pub in Egg Harbor, NJ....right next door to the laundrymat where we would wash clothes while in college....we spent hours washing clothes...the trip back to campus was always a bit fuzzy (not a big deal back in those days).

Skiing in Killington VT. ... theres a pub called pub & scrub?... suds and duds...?... SH*T ... I can't remember ... I don't know ... but it was a laundramat down stairs and a pub upstairs ... good idea but I brought my own cooler and we waited in the truck ....

Another drinking establishment that I have fond memories of, Trader Vic's in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I don't think it is there anymore, or the name has been changed. Any Floridians on the Bucket that can comment? There was a dance floor (not very big) and they would play that song from Animal House ("A little bit louder now, a little bit louder now...) and everyone would do the "Alligator" dance.
