LOL The REBELS?? I think the 10 errors cost the Rebels. You obviously did not see this incident and I have NEVER in all of my years playing or coaching seen something as disgusting as what I saw today.

This is the ONLY thing I am going to say because due to the investigation, my lawyer advised me not to speak on this but SELF DEFENSE is not a crime and 2 women were hit and knocked down FIRST tryin to stop this psycho, on our side, which is assault.

Congrats to Power Surge for winning the tournament.

thats terrible.
were the two women parents or coaches?
and congrats power surge
anyone know the results for the 14's?

One mom, one coach.

Yes, Power Surge played awesome. 19-0 in 4 innings...amazing! :)

Anytime you have parents involved in the game it is going to cost the team. Whether it is the parent running their mouth or the parent using their fist. This game is for the GIRLS. Not for their parents or their egos. It is for the player to show their TALENT, ABILITY and perserverance. In this case I'm sure the Rebels girls were more worried about their moms than they were about a softball game. 10 errors prove it. They are still children and they still have 12 yr old mentallity which they should.

I would hope that young minds are using softball as a way of staying out of violence and trouble. And are seeing it as a way to improve their lives. Its sad when their parents aren't supporting this state of mind.

Very well said... The incident at the field was the result of bad behavior of adults/parents and it was very sad to be witnessed by the young players on either team..

i wonder what provoked this parent

If I were a Corona Angels parent I would not want that scumbag anywhere near me or my kids.

Intense game, great game, international win by two. The kids played great but the parents didn't recognize that and let it be over when the game was over. Both the Corona Angels and the Rebels made some amazing plays and have some awesome players. Congrats to the CA players. They played GREAT!

It doesn't matter if I'm anomynous or what corner I come from. Your missing the point. Did anyone stop and look at the GIRLS' faces when the brawl was going down?

This is 12U softball! and how old are these girls again (think)? PLEASE!!! How many conscious years of mature mentality do they have on this earth?

Give them a chance to be confident, strong, intelligent young ladies that softball can help them attain in their life for the future, as long as parents or others don't confuse their role in these girls' lives.

Sometimes the parents want it more than the kids and at 12U that is probably every weekend:)

Great job to all the teams that made it to the finals
