Well said! I agree on you comment. I believe everyone who witness this incident can testify, doesn’t matter if you’re on The Rebels or Corona Angels.

Let’s be honest…I believe Kenny and his coaching staff owe all the Rebel Girls a huge apology. These girls witness the whole thing happened. Corona Angels were too far to see, although I’m sure they were afraid as well.

The Corona Angels girls were already traumatized by the events behind the backstop and in their stands between both the Angels parent and the Rebels parent, then watching their dads run over to stop the fight a little while later, they were more than scared. Our coaches were/are embarrassed and ashamed of this parent's behavior and do seriously apologize for it.

Coach Kenny wasn't talking to Aimee or the dugout, he was telling his batters something to which Aimee took offense to and she addressed him first, then he responded, then Aimee complained to the umpire.

The parent who started yelling Aimees name I can only surmise was in response to all the Rebel parents screaming their REBELS chant when they rallied in the 2nd inning - I assume it was to show the same respect to the coach that trying to confuse and intimidate with the team chant is meant to do to the opposite team. No other Angels parents were out of control, they were trying to difuse the situation between the two parents. Aimee's boyfriend did approach the Angels side of the stands first when the parent started yelling "sucks" after Rebels parents were screaming/chanting AIMEE after the game and yelling back "Sucks What?" and then it got really ugly.

Bad behavior on both people and no excuse at all for this unfortunate occurance at ANY type of sports event, let alone 12U girls softball.

I'm glad you responsed, I guess you never seen fans cheer for their team when a team comes from behind???? Saying Rebels is not the same as picking on a particular individual. Did the Rebels yell Coach Kennnnnny name in the middle of game??? NO! He could have said Angels right??? No he said her name so that's personal period!!! Oh by the way they do have spell checking on here I think you should use it next time, also her name is Amie not Amiee . You have a nice day now.

just to confirm that CA Rebels have the most GHETTO CREW AND COACHES

What's the matter LA FAMILIA? You're daughter try out for the Rebs and not make it?? You sure have a hard on for that team... ;)

Let's see... the Rebel head coach has a masters in education, the associate head coach is a sales manager for a tech company, another coach owns a TV advertising agency, and the rest of the staff are family of the first two. Yep. Sounds pretty Ghetto to me.

At least ban the Angels parent and Rebels parent who started it with eachother regardless of which team they are on, penalizing a team when the offenders may end up elsewhere doesn't do much IMO. Whatever legal ramifications the parent(s) may face should drive home the point one would hope, not to mention what it has done to their kid's future ability to find a team who will accept them knowing such a negative history.

People are now beginning to put their two cents in the story  . He said this she said that, blah blah blah. No two people will see the same side with the same lens; we all view it through different lenses. I was not there, but I’m sad to have heard about this confrontation. Parents are just living through their children. Hey, softball is wonderful…. I love the game and live at the fields with my DD. However, enough is enough stop trying to pump up the situation or make another team look terrible on this website.

Hotwheels, if you were offended by comments that were made near a snack bar, why wouldn’t you have said, “Excuse me I find that comment racist etc”.

To all you nosey people, if you were not directly involved then SHUT UP ALREADY!!!! I’m pretty sure that both these parents are wonderful persons and are regretting what transpired on the field.

As parents/coaches, it is ALL our responsibilities to make this an environment so that each girl can grow and prosper. Whether it was the incident with the group of parents against the one parent, or the incident at the snack bar by mothers referring to “Crying little white Girls” we all have a responsibility to stop it in its tracks.

Leave these parents alone and let the coaches resolve this matter together or separately. Remember the girls love this sport and I’m pretty sure that both thier daughters are suffering in there own right about it. Don’t take that away from them too.

See you all in States…

I completely agree.

I must say though, and this relates to an earlier posting, that it is all very easy to make a statement here and not have to back it up. IF you are going to throw those Rebel Moms under the bus by stating that they were making racist comments, you should put your money where your mouth is and name names. You said you knew for sure that at least one was a Rebel Mom, well, I bet the Rebel Organization would appreciate knowing who that was so that they could take approriate action as I don't know any organization that would codone this ...

If someone ran swinging into the women on our team, I would still be beating him when the cops showed up. Vigilante justice is way underrated these days.

That said, "did you see the little white girls crying" is pathetic and inexcusable. G...H...E...T...T...O!!

What...your going to lash him with your Rockports and Polo jacket.

Since you are new here, I'll educate you as to Heybucket protocol whenever someone--especially someone new--tells us to "SHUT UP ALREADY!!!" It's quite succinct, really, and goes a little something like this: BLOW ME.

We'll talk about whatever the hell we want to talk about, especially when it bears directly on our future decision-making with respect to softball (e.g., who to invite to our friendlies, whether to pack brass knuckles along with the sandwiches, etc.).

And by the way, I'm quite sure that these parents are NOT wonderful people, as evidenced by their completely classless conduct and comments. Whether they regret what transpired on the field is an open issue. All we can do is our best to make sure that they do...you know, to help them become wonderful in the future.

First off, how do you know I didn't? Were you there? Secondly, the answer to that is NO....I would not at that time or place with wife and 5 year old son in hand! That is where the mistake was made yesterday!!!

If you read my posts, I was only commenting on that aspect of the incident that I saw and replying to what was written....I can't legitimately make a comment on the field issues because I wasn't there....My main was to only imply that the atmosphere created was terrible.....

Read my post before you come on here looking to argue.....Let me know if I said something that wasn't true??? A couple of the posters who may or may not be on your team seem to be looking for a fight on this board....That's not helping your "We're innocent" card....

One of my posts said both teams are responsible for what happened....Not one....

By the way, I didn't say the post offended me either did I?? NO! I think I said it was a disgusting comment....
