EVER.

But in all seriousness, after the legal crap is done, there is a way to co-exist that doesn't kill the kids future. If coach is gonna keep the 3B's dad, there has to be a warning, suspension from set amount of games/tournaments, and a public apology.

That kid could possibly be tagged with this throughout her TB career, and that's not fair to her. She didn't get to choose her parents, but dad would be on a razored, choker leash for sure.

How about a public apology from the Corona Angels? They KNOW their parent ran to our side of the field wanting a fight. That was obvious in how fast he ran and the fact he was swinging at ANYONE, including 2 women FIRST trying to stop him in front of these kids.

Clean_up,

Obviously you’re only representing your team (Corona Angels)…..I was there, you are lying, be for real or don’t post anymore, you’re making a fool out of yourself. What matters is that a bunch of girls witness this incident, two adult females got hurt, and you’re going to sit there and defend him. How are you still part of this organization (Corona Angels)? You’re making no sense! There are plenty of witnesses who will say the truth….like I said earlier doesn’t matter if your part of the Rebels or Corona Angels.

For self defense? Hmmmm So why don't you answer, what would you have done in that situation? If you defended yourself from psycho dad, would you think you should be banned?

This started out as a serious post and has had me busting up for the last 30 minutes. My take on this is the game should have ended and both coaches should have controlled the parents and just cancelled the game. Don't let it get out of hand just to keep playing in a meaningless tournament. We had this happen a while back parents were adults about it seperated everyone and everybody went their seperate ways sometimes it gets heated but someone needs to step up and difuse the situation. This looks like it was preventable, now the 12 yr old girls are tramatized good job both of you. Enough of he said she said save yourself the humiliation that you have caused both of your orginazations and stop airing out your dirty laundry here.

What a sad situation!

There is a great book out there written by Dr. Fred Engh, entitled "Why Johnny Hates Sports".
Everyone should read, parents/coach's/organization leaders, it gives you a reality check of what youth sports are all about and why kids quit!

With that being said, we haven't had any personal issues with either one of their teams which are both HIGH QUALITY and TALENTED teams and coaching! I think people ge offended by the Rebels because they let it bother them. I haven't seen it be negative ever so I think it is just a tool they use to motivate their team....And it works!!

I think that both teams made some terrible decisions yesterday and it got WAAAY out of hand. I have heard all the rumors about the Rebels on this board but haven't seen it for myself so I would rather not make a comment on it. I do know that when we've played them they have been respectful. That goes for the Angels too!

I just think that both sides let that situation evolve and both are at fault......The sad part is that the girls had to see it!

That's just it though, other than the yelling of her name a few times in one inning, there was nothing else going on. He wasn't ranting and raving during the game, just sitting in his chair, quiet. When he did start yelling sucks after the game in response to the Rebels parent(s)chanting Aimie, it escalated in just seconds it seemed when the boyfriend walked over and boom, it was this huge deal, Angels parents holding him back, etc. Then it was over, parents packing up their stuff and walking out. There was no warning of what happened next, no way for anyone on the team to know or even think about it. This parent has never shown anything other than a rather laid back personality, like I said before it was surreal. Kind of hard to control a parent who does something completely out of character, taking everyone off guard and by surprise.

As far as the issue of talking coaches, complaints on the field - that wasn't a big deal, at least it didn't get people in our dugout or stands fired up, nobody even cared about it. All we heard was Aimie telling the umpire to have our coach stop talking to her or she would pull her team.

WOW, you say you didn't hear it...hmmmm but a few posts ago you said that KENNY WAS NOT TALKING TO THE DUGOUT and that ws a lie. If you couldn't hear anything, than how do you know this?

Anyone reading this can see the contradictions...like I said, you should just stay out of it.

There is no contradiction here, I said that your complaining to the umpire didn't get our dugout or fans upset, it was no big deal. And I didn't hear or see Kenny saying anything to your dugout or to your pitcher, all I heard was you call time and complain/threaten to take your team. My point here was that the Corona Angels parents were NOT all fired up in the stands because of anything going on between you and Kenny on the field. Just the one parent who started yelling your name, which as I've said before was un-called for and rude.

So, am I to see now that just because I am pointing out that this wasn't a Corona Angels uproar against the Rebels, that is was bad behavior on the part of both parents, that now it's all turning against me? This is kind of ridiculous. Just because someone is sorry about something bad that happened, doesn't mean they accept blame. Just because people apologize for things doesn't mean that other people didn't also do things they should apologize for.

I am a very honest person, when I say something I shouldn't or make a mistake, I always admit it or apologize for it. I'm not going to sit back and just let people bash our team and parents when in fact there was no tension with the other Angels parents, and none that I detected from the coaches that led to what happened. It was only one Angels parent involved in the fight, one Angels parent who for whatever reasons, regardless of what was or wasn't being said, did what he did running over to the Rebels and I don't know what happened over there, I was dealing with crying kids.

So, I don't mean to offend you or anyone on the Rebels, it is obvious that no one on your team thinks they did anything wrong at all, so that's that I guess. I was in the stands when the Rebels parent came over yelling back and forth with the parent on our team; you know he too could have kept his mouth shut, he too could have just ignored the Angels parent, he too could have just left the field.

Hmmmmm, I guess Amie made this all up just to be mean huh or the 14 little girls who also heard him (Are you calling them liars too?) Kenny was taunting point blank lady you were sitting next too the disgruntle parent and the motor mouth score keeper for the Angels. The whole time the score keeper was taunting how slow the Rebels pitcher was and that we can hit her all day. I guess you didn't hear that part because you were sitting so close too her huh? Why didn't you use common sense and say something to him when he was yelling Amie's name??? Like I said he made it personal. (I think a parent has a video on his blackberry if you want too get technical about it. At this point he or she don't mind at all too expose you.) . If they do the Rebel chant so what????? They only do it to cheer their team on. It's nothing wrong with that stop reaching........

Actually, I have many times seen and heard fans cheer for their team. The Rebels chant is annoying, loud and meant to distract the opposing team and it is successful. I was just guessing on why he started yelling her name, it was rude and personal against her, you are correct and IMO uncalled for. Spell check? Who really cares how she spells her name, seriously? Besides spell check shows AMY.

I see now you have a problem with The Rebels chant, LOL I'm sorry that you are intimated by it. Please don't go too any sports event or professional games outside of softball you might have a nervous break down lady!!! One minute you try too sound all righteous about things and the next minute sneaking your little blows in about the Rebels. (Snake) WOW is Amie the only word you misspelled I think not, LMAO Go back and look again!!! LOL

LA FAMILIA says: just to confirm that CA Rebels have the most GHETTO CREW AND COACHES

The only word that comes out of your mouth is GHETTO hmmmmm do you know anything else?? Ghetto this, Ghetto that! If I look in the dictionary for the word GHETTO would I see a picture of you???? I think everyone on here needs to treat you a little different, because you are a very special person. Figure that one out GHETTO BOY!!

I'm curious. How often did the Rebel parents use the "rebel cheer" to cheer on the girls when they were getting drubbed by Power Surge?

And you can not liken cheering at a 12U game to cheering at a professional sporting event. If you do, then you would have no problem with the language and conduct of the CA parent.

WOW you are out of context..... Let me explain again so you understand.....I'm not comparing 12U too professional sports (DUH!) I'm only stating if she can't stand a Rebel Cheer she shouldn't go too any sport's events because she might have a nervous break down. (Remember she stated the Rebel Cheer was annoying)

Far as the game with Power Surge goes they won! I'm curious is that your team? I believe CA Rebels & Power Surge record this year is 1-1-1 :D
