THE BALLFIELDS AT GLORYRANCH

by Glory-less Nation » Fri Apr 03, 2009 8:26 am

Oh, how I wish someone would post an intelligent reply. Joe, you have the mental capacity of a dixie cup. I am curious about your responses though. Are you defending the Glory Nation or not? Or are you only defending the Shelton side of Glory because you dont really care for Dan? Careful with your responses because I would not want you to commit perjury. Please do not reply with... "life isn't fair" or "sniffle..sigh...sniffle."

CHAP, you are an interesting case study as well. I am well aware of your past history and exploits. However, there is no good served in bringing up the past, so I will not do so out of respect. You are correct in that no TD or organization owes me anything. In reality, I do not expect a response. However, if you go back and read my posts, you will discover that I never demanded an explanation. I simply stated that I was "curios" and would be "interested to hear" from Glory Nation on a couple of subjects. Are you really asking about a difference b/t Nesbitt & Glory Ranch, and if one is more prestigious than the other??? You are joking right. How can I take you seriously when you ask such stupid questions. I will remember your response the next time there is a College Look or Showcase out there and you have more scouts at one location than the other. The whole purpose of my post was to promote the idea of truth in marketing. The vast majority of VTD tournament websites will mention the possibility of an alternate location if too many teams sign up. This is not done because the TD "owes" everybody an explanation, but it is simply done out of respect, common courtesy and being forthright with everyone from the beginning. And as far as the bracket seeding goes, no, they do not owe me anything. However, I know if someone was on here making FALSE accusations about me or my team or organization, I would quickly defend the integrity of my team or organization.

Finally, CHAP, I would like to correct you in regards to my childhood and upbringing. For the record, I had a wonderful childhood and was blessed with two parents that are still married after 42 years. They taught me respect, honor and discipline.

Glory-less Nation OUT!!!
Thank you sir, may I have another

every team hosting a tournament does this with all their teams, nothing new and it will not change anytime soon, blind draws help at check in for the bracket if your not seeding from pool games.

Seeding from pool games I feel is the best way to run a tournament, but then everyone complains about the pool draw like at the Bomber. Luckily they did it the right way by making the draw public and even web-casting it

Dateline GLORY RANCH. Our crackhead oh I mean crack research team have uncovered a tape of the draw for pool & bracket play at GLORY RANCH. It appears although is is a very fuzzy tape that indeed MR.GLORY did do a blind draw. We have confirmed he must be blind & dumb to think anybody believes any of this bracket. We have also learned that the GLORY WILL BE BUYING TEXAS LOTTERY TICKETS THIS WEEKEND DUE TO THEIR UNBELIEVEABLE LUCK The word on the street is they will buy the GLORY RANCH Ballfields WITH THE WINNINGS.

I will not respond to the negative comments made by Mr Billingsly and others - I think that is probably the most intelligent reply. Nor will I speak for the other teams that he has directly and indirectly referred to in one way or the other. As for the 96Diamonds, this is a great group of young ladies and Mr Travers has done a great job with this squad and they can beat anybody any given weekend. As for the 12U Force; they were VERY successful throughout their campaign last year and they are doing what they believe they should to develop and compete at the next highest level. Regardless of your animosity towards a program, towards a complex, and obviously other teams, the truth is - there are some very talented ladies playing this weekend.

As for our team? Well, we will be there ready to play our best game whether its against a 10U or an 18U team. And I'm sure we will get their best game.

We are looking forward to a great weekend of fastpitch softball whether its at CRAIG Ranch, Gabe Nesbitt, or the freshly brush-hogged back forty with throw down bases and a buried 2x4 for the pitching rubber.

Thanks for your response.I believe you have missed the point. I have not attacked your team.I have simply stated I believe you would rather play it out & let the best teams decide the outcome. I do not think any good team wants a gentleman over their club to decide for them what road they will take to Sunday afternoon. Also if memory serves me there are several open fields around there maybe you should play it out there & let the young ladies who all work so hard decide the outcome.
