What i do know is the two teams that didthe best against them where the 96 and 97 Bombers. The Bandits were down 1-0 through 5 1/2 innings against the 97 Bombers and came back to win 2-1 and they beat the 96's 2-0 and they were the closest games.

LOL so what you are saying is the Bombers 97 are a good team because they held the Bandits through 5 1/2 innings? Maybe the Bandits were just off a little, were did 97 Bombers finish in pool?? oh yeah dead last!!!

Bombers 96 yeah I can see them giving Bandits a game but 97 nahhh.. one time thing is all!

I saw most of that game the Bombers played good D and their pitcher was on.

Just goes to show you, even the top teams have to play every game. There are no gimmee's

:D

so let me get this straight Sams Dad, are you saying you have never seen your daughters team play this well? Was it a fluke that every thing came together for 4 or 5 games this weekend or are yall one of the best in Texas?

Since yall did win the Big Bomber,

What team out there would you least like to play again that was at the Bomber? (In terms of them possibly knocking you out of a tournament in the fututre)

What teams would you consider would give the Bandits their best game (rather they were at the Bomber or not).

With first hand knowledge of the competition, how would the Houston Area teams that did not make the trip have done?

Care to take a respectable stab at the best in Texas/Oklahoma?

All of Texas should listen since you do have top honors for the Spring as of now.

#1 question: are you saying you have never seen your daughters team play this well?

I have seen them play this well, but I have also seen them play worse. It is very early in the season and with the little amount of practice and playing time they have had, I think the first bracket game against the 97 Bomber's was a wake up call for them. After that game it seemed like they put their game faces on.

#2 question: Was it a fluke that every thing came together for 4 or 5 games this weekend?

I do not think it was a fluke that they came together for 4 or 5 games, but more like that is how I expect and hope they will play on a consistent basis.(Please note: I am only a Dad that sits in the stands, not one of the coaches. So please do not read into this anything coming from any of the four coaches on the team.) The Bandits have 10 very solid and talented girls that like many other 12 year old girls have a lot of other things going on in their young life. It is totally up to them as to how well they continue to play each and every tournament they attend. You know as well as I do that nobody can predict that. Right??

#3 question: are yall one of the best in Texas?

It is impossible for anybody to say that they think they are one of the best in Texas and I would not even venture down that road at this point. I have no idea what else is out there, except for what I have seen so far. At this point I do know that there are quite a few Houston and surrounding area teams that are very, very good. Maybe more can be said after the HOF in San Antonio in May??

#4 question: What team out there would you least like to play again that was at the Bomber? (In terms of them possibly knocking you out of a tournament in the fututre)

At this point and not to offend any of the other teams we played, as all of them were very solid teams, it would be the 97 Bomber's as they had us in their sights for a BIG first game upset. They played a great game and kept our hitter's off balance the whole game. Had it not been for our number 9 batter, Amber, hitting a triple to lead off the bottom of the fifth inning, it may have been lights out for the Bandits.

#5 question: What teams would you consider would give the Bandits their best game (rather they were at the Bomber or not).

This is a loaded question and I will not answer it so I do not add any fuel to the fire for the Bandits. Any team an any given day can beat anybody. Enough said for that question.

#6 question: With first hand knowledge of the competition, how would the Houston Area teams that did not make the trip have done?

Again, this is a loaded question and all I can say is that anybody that did not attend the Bomber Shootout, missed out on a great tournament. I do not have first hand knowledge of the competion, but can say that after two days of watching the teams in our own tournament this weekend, there are at least a half a dozen teams that could have done well at the Bomber.

#7 question: Care to take a respectable stab at the best in Texas/Oklahoma?

Nope, I will leave that up the people in Vegas.

#8: All of Texas should listen since you do have top honors for the Spring as of now.

I do not consider the Bandits to have top honors for the spring as of now. It was one tournament and there will be plenty more to come.

I appreciate your questions but do wonder what team you are from? The only reason I decided to put something on here was to try and keep everything on the up and up level. My name is Mark and I am Samantha's dad. She is number 24 for the Bandits and I will not try to hide from anything I put on this website. I just wish everybody else could be so up front.

I hope I have answered your questions but would like to say that Sam's mom (Carrie) has a knack for putting her feelings on here as well.

It would be nice if everybody just put their real name on here and who they play with so nobody is confused. Maybe, I am the only one confused??

Good night,
Mark

What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.

Ummmm ZIG, on another board, didn't someone call you a "he" because of the masculine Ziggy avatar, and you corrected them by saying you're a she and your name was Carol? And you think someones wife is hot? Hmmmm....

Hey Zig, I appreciate the compliment, but I know for a fact that my "Hot wife" Carrie would not be interested in knowing that a woman thinks she is "hot". Now, on the other hand, if we are being "straight up" on the whole heybucket thing, then maybe you are really a guy who is just voicing his opinion of having great taste ;)

It doesn't really matter too much because you won't come clean about who you really are. Must have something to hide, I don't know??

So how's the big Deer Park tournament going to shake out?? Lot's of really good teams there and will be a lot of fun watching it on Sunday. I need to get to bed so I can be well rested (Maybe semi rested if my hot wife is still awake by the time I get down stairs) and enjoy the beautiful day we are going to have Sunday.

Can't wait to hear back from you Zig. I am sure you will make us all laugh once again.

Go Bandits and 10U Phantomz!!

The "Hot wife's" husband (Mark)
