Either way, when the dust settles I think Dan will have the horses. Maybe they will both go away at season end.
So do you think Dan will have the horses this year for the run to Gold Nationals, or are you predicting over the next few years Dan will be able to pull the horses to his side?
After watching many games this past fall I believe Shelton team has an advantage over the Adkins Gold team. While Adkins was playing the majority of his roster this past Fall trying to get players showcased and committed Kevin already had a vast majority of his players done and didn't even play them in the fall. Should be close and could end up producing some very competitive games in the Qualifiers.
As for the potential players each Glory side has feeding into their Gold teams over the next few years I think that it could easily be stated that all 4 of the 16U teams on the Shelton side are better than the one team on Adkins side. Foutch is returning a solid lineup from last years team that qualified for 16U Nationals last year, Naudin's team is loaded with talented and looks to have competed very well in the Fall, 94 Glory Drummond and Houston are mainly comprised of Freshman girls who should be competitive. Adkins 16U team is a comprised of a few Sohp, Fresh and majority 8th graders. I am not saying Adkins 16U can't compete, but that the numbers are greater on Shelton's side.
I will agree with a previous poster 14U and below seem to be average at best. With a few talented teams in the younger age groups. In the 14U age group I don't believe Glory has one team that can compete with the likes of the BB Montoya's, 95 Kruzers, 95 Travelers, 94 Elite, or 95 BB Rhines team.
