High School Ball well under way, what are your thoughts.

Bucketboy,

I feel your pain, or do I mean rain. Do to the rain, we have 13 games scheduled in the next 11 playable days. (Not counting Sundays). Only two of them are make up for rain. We knew this part was coming. Hopefully we can go 8 deep in the pitching rotation. ( I wish!) We do have three off days, not counting Sundays, between now and County! Maybe we could schedule our two non-conference rainouts on two of those days! This ought to be interesting.

Glad to know it is not just us and this week ahead is going to be brutal for DD. They play Thursday, Friday and two Saturday, then play Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week.

I guess it is like battling out of the loser's bracket in June or July but at least they don't have to play 8 in a weekend.

It's so crazy, that a rained-out conference game bumped a non-conference game, which got rescheduled two weeks out. A non-conference V-JV away game got rained out and is now a varsity-only game. A JV game has been rained out twice. Looks like we get a break through the weekend.

DD got her revised schedule at practice. (indoors again) It looks like 4 of 5 games are going to be made up. The schedule is going to be a real test for the coaching staff and the pitching!

Saw Noblesville (8-0) beat McCutcheon 2-0 on two solo homeruns. Noblesville left several runners on base early, but settled in to a good game. McCutcheon threatened in 7th. JV also beat McCutcheon 13-0. Noblesville should be good for a couple of years.

My take so far having watched these teams:
4a - Center Grove, Carmel
3a - New Pal, Booneville (beat Carmel)
1a - Lutheran

Lutheran and New Pal can play with anyone, regardless of size. They are talented.

Stratos don't forget Avon in 4A. Jenny looks to be firing on all cylinders.

Good one tonight in Center Grove and Avon.

If you are on the southside tomorrow night Lutheran plays New Pal at Lutheran.

Come by the center field skybox the grill should be going.

I saw Ramsey hit one last night who hit the other?

Thanks for the update. DD plays on McCutcheon JV. We couldn't go to the game because of another commitment. She didn't want to talk about the game when I picked her up. The good news is, she will be dressing for varsity and playing JV tonight vs. West Lafayette.

Forkner hit the first one in the 3rd. A towering shot that was 250ft high, got in the 40mph jet stream and kept going. lol It was hard hit. But Ramsey's was a shot. After looking bad on a couple swings she uncorked that one.

Yes - I forgot about Avon, my mistake.

Coolstuff - yep we saw your dd playing on the JV side last night. Easy to see where you got Coolstuff as your nic. lol
