Clearly the Centex teams had this rigged from the get go. Texas Blaze Captain Kirk was soley responsible for a bracket that favored the Centex teams and I know for a fact that private planes were used to seed the clouds a couple of days out.... resulting in more than normal rain on fields used by the Houston and DFW teams' fields. I also heard that Captain Kirk's field had plenty of Kwik Dry while others were left to play in the soup.

I'm pretty sure the DFW teams will meet Monday morning to make a decision on this and possibly file a protest w/ ASA.

That's too funny Joe :D :D
........so, if I was qualifing for HOF Tournament and making up the brackets, let me see... I would put my team in the same bracket with Travelers, Kruzers, Texas Glory (Atkins), Texas Elite, TPS, Batbusters (Montoya), Elite (Alice), SK Velocity, Texas Glory, and Texas Kaos 95........I'm sure if the Hawks didn't have HS ball they'd be on that side, and if the Peppers had a choice they'd rather be in that top half instead of where they where !!
Hey.............it'll be a sure fire way to get to the HOF Tournament, wouldn't it !!!
NOT !!!
Anyone coming out DRY! on that side of the bracket on Sunday deserves it ! Rain or No Rain !

So...........props to Texas Blaze Captain Kirk and his team !!! must have beat some good teams to get where they did !

Maybe some the Houston teams should jump in on that and file a protest too !!
Well except for Coastal Elite...............BTW no disrespect here, but Who is Coastal Elite? and Who did they have to play...... to place as high as they did? The top half of the bracket was so stacked, didn't realize there was a bottom half..............That's crazy.........

Congrats to Blaze, C. Elite, and the Kruzers and a big thank you to the folks in San Antonio who worked on those fields for hours on end and kept us updated throughout the process.

Surprise of the weekend.........Bombers beating Peppers.....really good game
Disappointments of the weekend..........Travelers and Peppers
Game of the weekend..........Montoya vs Kruzers for third bid. Great game!!! Kruzers won in i think 11 innings? 5-4? Both teams lived up to their reps.

I heard that the Batbuster/Kruzers game lasted 3 hours. It is this true?

Agree with you and would like to add that someone said NTX. should toughen up.... I want to point out 1 player, the Kruzers ace pitcher...(no disrespect to any player or team) They don't come any tougher than that, 20+ back to back innings + another 4 long games on the mound on Sunday.Thats tuff in my book!
Kuddos to Kruzers coaches/parents/players for earning your birth and then forfieting your games to play for 1st or 2nd. Smart move!! I am sure Blaze and C.Elite would thank you too,You put them getting home earlier :D

Congrats to Blaze, Elite and Kruzers

I too thought the Peppers were a lock for the top 3. Pitcher has a lot of talent but a lot of attitude...Did not live up to the hype.

Blaze looked good all weekend. Proved they are a top team against the best in the state.

BB Montoya looked great at times then ave. at other times...The game against the Kruzers was great, could have gone either way....If they figure how to keep it together they will be tough.

TPs put it on the BB but couldn't get it done...Lots of attitude on this team.

Kruzers are the real deal. Top team in any tournament. Well disciplined.

Coastal Elite shocked everyone...not a tough draw but still performed well

Travelers did not look like they have in the past. Did not look seem to have the killer instinct.

Bombers shocked everyone with wins over the Peppers and Glory but like BB looked sloppy on other games...Still have some work to do to be a top contender.
