Some of the best softball was played this weekend IMO..
great games all over the place! Austin's Finest 97 and the Austin Stars also went into 2 ITB with a mental break down by the Austin's Finest at the end.

Glad to see the entire state representing the top 4 but Houston area showed they have some of the states best teams,congrats to the top 3 I think Texas will be represented well!!

97 Redhots made alot of noise, they have some great defense and speed, def the top 97 team in the State!

2 out 3 ain't bad..
Fusion went 0-2?? bad weekend maybe?

The Fury / Peppers game was also a classic going into ITB as well, they had a big crowd as both teams loaded the bases with 1 out but Fury was able to get the win on a walk!! hard fought game though for both teams..

Austins Finest came back in the bottom of the last inning against 97 Kruzers to get a tough win.. like I said some great softball all weekend!!

It's nice to finally see a Central TX team finish strong! Props to the Austin Stars for hanging with the big dogs! Congrats to the Diamonds, Peppers and Red Hots...have a great time in OK City. Texans will be proud of you ladies representin' our great state!

Did the Longhorn Pitcher quit Sat. morning? Heard a rumor that she did. May be why they fell back.

Congratulations to the top three....it looks like the only surprises were Fusion, Bandits and Thunder not making into the top and the Red Hots being in the top three.

Did the Red Hots have an easy draw...who did they have to play to get so far? Just curious...I know they are a good scrappy team but really didn't predict them in the top 3.

No easy draw (and in my mind actually the toughest road) had to beat Texas ice 96, Fortbend Thunder then the Texas bandits lost to Diamonds and Peppers
