I have to say at most tournaments a flier looking to raffle away $500 in liquor at a girls youth sporting event would surprise me. I don't know if it was the smell of butane in the air, being in Deerpark or what but in that setting it seemed quite natural and normal and not much of a surprise :o  :o  the surpise was that there wasn't a seperate raffle for cartons of smokes and rolls of snuff

Drinking is a must to deal with the insanity of this sport. In fact that would be a good poll
I think they are saving the tabacco for the next tournament

Doesn't surprise me that a class organization like TPS would put a raffle on for liquor at a 10U event.

The next thing they'll be selling is some private time in the porto-podies with some hot Texas MILF. Can you imagine that fundraiser? :D

TPS is the only organizations in the country other than Corona Angels and OC Batbusters to have multiple teams finish in the Top 5 at ASA "A" Nationals last year. TPS 97 5th at 10U, and TPS 95 at 12U. If TPS98 could hit like TPS97 they would never lose. They spanked us often last year, usually by 15 runs. Hit 1-9 like nobody can this year.

They just havent been around long enough to be considered an elite organization yet.

must b a cali beach bum amung us! I have no prob w/ the liquor basket fundraiser. When ur fundraising u have 2 mix it up. People get tired of the same old crap. The only thing I would have done different was kept the liquor at home and just showed the pics. Only cause u do have some parents out there that look 4 reasons 2 say something. Or maybe we should take a page out of the cali book and sell sun tan lotion, shades, and bags of oranges. Haha.

I have not heard anything, but REALLY says they imploded. Based on that I would guess they are disbanding. If that is true I hope the kids that stuck thru it have somewhere to play.

You mean the team with all the top girls off of all the top teams ? Surly not that team, it was so competitive right out of the gate, nothing could have went wrong with that team. Didn't they pick girls from the big three TPS, Texas Sting, & Peppers ?
