ASA "A" 12u States

by SoftballG » Tue May 19, 2009 8:06 am

Anyone have a list of whos going??
I know it's in Tyler, TX but there is no listing that I can find anywhere..

And looking at the California boards, 12 teams get qualified from ASA state in California but only the top 3 from ASA state in Texas advance? is this because of the number of ASA teams registered to play at states?

1st-3rd from States
1st-2nd from regionals
3 possible by way of HOF
1st FW Metro
1st Dallas Metro
1st SA Metro
1st Houston Metro

13 possible with only 10 guaranteed I have found so far and Cali gets 12 guaranteed at states alone.. wow!

This is METRO (HOUSTON) not State. Its called Houston ASA Championship

Plus two more at regionals (=14) and there is a Nationals qualifier up in Hayward with one guaranteed berth open to any ASA team to compete for July 5th. Don't forget, we don't have metro qualifiers. It's only States and Regionals plus the one Nationals qualifier with one berth... I think they talked about reducing the berths to top 8 at states for 2010, but not official yet what they are doing.

NoCal ASA and Central Cal ASA may also have qualifiers, not sure of how many berths are given out though, they only have a handfull of teams up there anyway so it might just be 1 or 2.
