Houston Metro 12u

Kaos 96 and Ice 96 on one side, Sting and High Voltage on the other side of the bracket looks like they will play each other early in the tourney.

Why is ASA letting in teams outside the metro area participate, shouldn't they go to the state tourney?

If the majority of the teams players live in a county that is ajoining to metro or the metro county regardless of the teams "home" location they have the choice to participate in metro or state.

So if you have 6 of 11 players who live in brazoria county you get to choose metro or state.

I don't like the Metro Qualifiers to begin with..
Dallas Metro has 3 teams and 1 berth..
FW Metro has 2 teams and 2 berths!!
SA Metro has 3 teams and 1 berth..
Texas should be divided into SoTEX, NoTEX, CenTEX and maybe West Texas each area getting 4-6 berths IMO depending on the # of teams entered to play so more teams are allowed to play and not just local teams

and another thing why does Texas ASA website not list the Metro Qualifiers on their flow charts?

The best teams in Houston are already in. This will be a waste of time and boring as hell. Whoever wins should save there money and stay at home. Maybe go to New Orleans or Panama City!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have listen to you two idiots long enough!!! Not everybody gets qualified on their first try
due to a bad weekend, injuries, ect. I can almost bet their are teams twice as good as your
team that have not qualified yet for whatever reason. If y'all are so proud of your teams please
name them so we can disect your play at nationals or would you rather not just in case you 2
and que or maybe you rather not just in case a team that has not qualified yet might out play you.... But it's just like some people instead of supporting other texas teams you try and deqrade another team..

Its always something about the brackets or this or that life isnt fair deal with it, cause crying
is not going to change anything. I mean last week we played at the 14u national qualifier and
the top of the bracket was stack with all the best teams Sk Velocity,TPS, Travelers,Houston Power, Peppers, Shockers and the Kruzers. Nobody cried they just went out and handle their bussiness and the best team for that weekend won. My point is good or bad bracket the best teams will always prevail. By the way the winner of the 14u was from the top bracket and the second place team was also from the top bracket. Just dont let your kids hear you crying all
the time cause it could get contagious..

SOFTBALLS,

Couldn’t agree more!! If the “best” teams have already qualified, then Flash and Frito shouldn’t worry about any of these Houston teams sending them home early. They must have a proven record of consistently beating the teams still working to qualify. I’m sure they won’t mind posting their record against the remaining, untalented, embarrassing Houston teams that shouldn’t waste their money on a trip to Illinois.
