Seems like ASA State would also then qualify as a back door tourney since some of the top teams there finished behind some teams entered in Metro at the recent HOF qualifyer. Check it out boneheads.

IF it would be financially feasable, it would be great to have a tournament here in Texas before the ASA Nationals with all the qualified teams entered to really find out who is the best team at this point. Could be the Aces, Diamonds, Bandits, Thunder, Peppers, ect.... That would give a true State Champion.

I believe the true State Champion was crowned this past week end :D :D

Although your idea would be a great weekend of some great softball! Then we wouldn't have to spend all that money going to nationals :)

I have to agree that the Aces are the best team is the State, followed by the Bandits, Peppers, and Diamonds but would love to see an 8 team State tourney, 7 innings, double elimination.

ASA 12 U metro is a tossup, there are no obvious favorites, as the Aces and Bandits have already qualified. prediction: Sting, Kaos, HighVoltage, Ice

Frito and Grand Master you are both total morons. Berths to ASA/USA are hard to come by, if your team got lucky and qualified early congrats but don't bash those that haven't Qualified yet.

Isn't ASA State the very tournament you are looking for?

Also for those who are so incredibly uninformed, ASA does not allow teams to enter both Metro and ASA State. Each team had to pick the qualifier they wanted to enter. So blasting the Metro teams for not being at State displays some ignorance about the process!

Please contact your local ASA representative if you have more questions about your local qualifiers.

Not a bad idea, what 8 teams would you like to see battle it out? Also, the HOF Qualifier was almost like the tourney you are speaking of, we were just missing the Aces out there.

Aces
FB Thunder
Tx Peppers 96
Tx Fury 96
Tx Bandits 96
Diamonds
Red Hots 97 (because they deserve it)
kaos 96
That would make a good tourney
