Then why was she (#37) leading off and playing 2nd base for Voodoo this past weekend? Just curious.

I don’t want to get into the real story. Just keep believing what you heard. And remember there’s always two sides to the story. And by the way the kid is a great player and is missed on our team.

I actually haven't heard anything about why she left. I just happened to be watching a game and saw her playing for Voodoo, that's all I know. Kids leave for all kinds of reasons some of them the right reasons and some of them wrong reasons. That's between the girl, her parents and the team.

I was just responding to the post that inferred you had some angst with Voodoo. Are they a B caliber team-NO. Should they be able to play in whatever division they want if that is what they feel is best for their team-YES.

NO...

They may be playing for what's best for the trophy case.

That may be true for some coaches and teams. I have met the manager of Voodoo and seriously doubt a trophy is what he cares about. I imagine he believes that he has a better chance of playing longer in the tournament against the B division and giving his girls more games. After all they are traveling a 1000 miles to play.

If we are going to get on Voodoo for playing in the B division what about HB Force, SA Xtreme, Revenge 97, HB Breeze, Bustos Elite etc. These are all some pretty decent teams from So. Cal.

We have no idea what his injury or pitching situation might be. If he is doing it just to win a trophy then I agree with you.

My personal preference would be to play against the toughest competetion possible. But, others may not have that same philospohy and that's why we can have this discussion on the bucket.

That is a good point. Didn't HB Breeze win it last year in the B division?
