Right now we have tons of disgruntled recball families who blame the kids lack of ability on the coaches. You have to be honest about your ability, that's my two cents.

Team Smash has two teams, A 94 team that has played 12U all winter and A 93 team. I would not post or brag about being ranked #1 in 12U when you are a 14u team playing 12 year olds.Your coach must not think your team is very good or he would not be playing down. Lets see how your team dose againts other 94 teams. As for your 93 team they are a good older 14u team(not a first year team as you stated).

Here in the midwest mo, ks, ne, ok, a second year 12u team in 08, the KC XPLOSION is the
cream of the crop. This team has two national titles in two years, back to back. At 10u they won the AFA nationals and last year at 11u they won the 11u world series. I will agree the AFA and USSSA do not draw the talent of a ASA national. This team will be in the ASA nationals in Alabama this year and will be a team to be reckoned with. Google kc xplosion for web site.

careful with the USSSA points ranking. it primarily means you have played a lot of USSSA tounaments and therfore paid a lot of USSSA fees. the #1 ranked 12u team last year from florida (where USSSA is really big) was not that impressive last year. good for sure, but not dominating as their points woudl indicate.

I'd agree that the '95 Heat, TNL and AA's are definutely there this year. in the past, nemisis and angels were also great, but have not seen them at the friendlies and tournmanents this year. I assume they are there as well.

Madness, as i mentioned in my post the AFA and USSA do not draw the same level of talent as the ASA, agreed. "READ THE POST". However to minimize the success of this talented team in the midwest, just because they do not have the benefit of local ASA tournaments and live in softball heaven California, would not be correct. I was merely posting to inform people as to who was the best 12u team in this part of the country. 30 teams at 12u in California who could duplicate this accomplishment, lol i seriously doubt it.

There is a new kid on the block by the name of SO CAL JYNX  . Young bunch of kids that know the game, and also a great coaching staff. This is the top 96 team out there, and can hang with any of the big dogs (95's) out there... :P   :x

I think they were the 10U rec champs of the world last year....and I've got a suitcase full of cash that says most of the (SoCal) '95 teams represented on this board take the new kids to the wood shed. They do appear to be a pretty strong '96 team though.
