Tryouts

by looking in » Fri Aug 14, 2009 1:26 pm

ntheknow,
These coaches aren't paid to do this, they more than likely loose money doing it! If a coach is making the "travel Parent" act a certain way, find a new team! But, my guess is you do that every year anyway! Step up and coach if you don't like the coaches your dd is playing for! Maybe you'll understand what the put up with! Good luck with your new team!

So how did everyone's tryouts go?

I was extremely pleased and now can't wait to play some ball soon.

Well, as a parent, happy to return to the same team, and I know DD is too.

So, did she make it?

Yes she did. Good kid, good family and will be a solid member of the team.

Change of subject. I heard thru the grapevine that the Sportzone installed new field turf on the softball field. Has anyone seen the finished product?

On that same subject change, has anyone heard if The Dome is hosting any tournaments this winter?
