D-Bat making an impression

by Next Question » Tue Sep 01, 2009 10:23 pm

2good2beorange, congrats, you are a sponsor for D-Money. Were will your name be on the banner? I heard one of the D-Money coaches telling a Dad how he is going to make a killing working for D-Money. The coach is even thinking about quitting his job because he just hit the lottery!

Get real, unless they have changed in the last 72 hours, its $900.00 a season to play for D-Money with a $50.00 tryout fee. Do you really think D-Money is going to absorb the cost for our DD's to play? Give me a break, they are in this for one reason and it's time to change the name from D-Bat to D-Money!

I can honestly say that I havent paid for anything but team fees for the season and it wasnt no $900.00. As far as a tryout fee, I didnt pay a damn thing, I just showed up with my dd and she had a workout for the coach and viola! she is a DBAT. Nothing out of the ordinary, just like any other team, I guess the major difference is the facilities and being able to have a coach that can help my daughter with her swing without having to pay for extra lessons. Oh and I overhear some of the girls giggling about all the "cute guys" that hit at the facility while they are there, actually that worries me a little.:) Overall, so far a great experience the dd is loving it and she is becoming a better player. The people that are saying the bad things about the organization, I am not sure where you are getting the info, but from someone within the organization, we are pleased and excited for the season. Good luck to all this year.

Really? Cause it's plastered all over the front page of the D-bat website about how the 98s made them 1-0 in tournaments by winning Hotter-N-L. Well that was a B tournament.

According to VTD There is currently a D-Bat team registered for 8 B tournaments. How many A? Zero.
