TOP 10U TEXAS TEAMS FOR HOUSTON METRO AREA

Redrocker seems to know what is going on. I think Rampage is in the top 5 in the Metroplex, but not in the top 10 in the state. They haven't won any big tournaments. The little 8 team rec tournaments in Mesquite just do not quite measure up to the 20-25 team tournaments coming up. By October, we should know who the best 99 teams are.

I really wouldn't of expected the Rampage to be able to win any of the big tourneys with the top '98's in the mix, but I have a feeling that the Rampage will be one of the top two '99 teams next year from what I have seen. They did win the tourney's that they were supposed to, heck they won three tourney's in a row and 2nd in another to a decent CenTex Buzz '98 team. There isn't another team in North Texas that has three strong '99 pitchers like they do plus a really strong catcher.

It's my belief there will be teams in North Texas that are not as strong as they appear to be now. I know of one of the mentioned 99 pitchers looking for a new home.

I have to agree with stirring the pot the best 99 played with the 98 Rage. she is a true99. what the hec are you talking about 98,s in this forum for they should be in 12u now. If the 99 pitcher from the rage is pitching all of your DD will have to take a back seat no matter how much you want to lie to yourselfe, she is the shizzle and your daughter wont catch her this year. Heck she is one of the top pitchers on the 98 team she was on and the team was verry good. they were top 10 in ASA nationals with her last year. just accept 2nd placd to her and you wont be upset.

The best 99 pitcher will be playing with the Phantomz I hear. She was with the 98 Rage the last 2 years. I Do not think the other pitchers are close to her right now. Is there any truth to this rumor??????? If so the Phantomz will be the team to beat.

I was going to say the same thing. Rumor has it that 3 or 4 of those teams are still searching for players. I would have to say the Cobras would have to be the early favorite. OR any team that had a 99 pitcher last season which is few and far between on that list most of them rode the coat tails of a 98 pitcher last season and are now left searching for a pitcher.

don't remember anybody but that big girl that hits home runs sometimes from lady rage. they've thrown her every time we've run across them.

that's probably number 4. other 3 look pretty solid, that girl seems to be alright too now. but its really difficult to handle that many. you never know though.

Yeah.. the only kid we have ever seen as well is the big girl when playing Lady Rage.. however before we played them.. they was warming up a smaller girl that if I remember correctly was left-handed.. Only reason I remember was because she was smaller than the rest of the team. Anyway.. been so long since we played them.. it could be my poor memory.

Sorry missed part of your post about it being the number 4 pitcher.. I know for a fact its not the number four pitcher.. unless your number 4 pitcher is throwing 55 or so (which I doubt).
