Slapleather who beat Rampage in Hotter than Hell was it the Heat and Roughriders, I know the Heat was a 98 team and Roughriders a true 99 team. So how do the Roughriders stack up with Rampage? Just Curious I've seem both play.

I Have to agree also with redrocker.

Roughriders= As always hit the ball very well. Play pretty good defense. One pretty good pitcher.

Black Sox = pretty good all around team, hits pretty good and pretty good defense. Could use some pitching help. Good team maybe falling back a bit. As Always a very Steady team that is well coached.

Glory = Getting better with every tournament. Won two tournaments according to VTD with some tough Metroplex teams in them including Black Sox, Axe, and roughriders. They play really good defense and hit the ball very well. Looks to have 3 pretty good pitchers. A lot better this year than last.

Tx Rip now Threat, Jury still out, will probably rebound and be one of the top 5 teams but kinda got behind latley.

Kruzers= Been playing mostly 10u A and 12u B, gotta always mention them in this discussion also. Very good kids, hit, play defense well, need some pitching maybe.

Rampage= Won 3 tournaments ok, First one in Rockwall mostly aganist new teams and rec teams, 2nd one pretty good tournament in Forney did have some good teams in that one, 3rd one in Waco, only 6 teams Centex Buzz only team anyone has heard of, 4th in a five team tournament in Garland against teams that haven't done much. Probably would agree maybe one of the top 5 in Metorplex, but that would be about the best. Not sure if they will be around next year or not. Some intresting rumors around concerning this team. Lot of smoke.......Rewind and SlapLeather are for sure parents or coach's of Rampage.

well folks it looks like rain, may not make to Colleyville this weekend but there is great tourny going on right now downtown Dallas. It has to be National Short Skirt Day. And the top seeds are:
1. 6ft tall blonde
2. 5'8" Redhead
3. Small Hispanic
4. 5'10" Brunette

That's my top 4 today.

I would almost bet that the 5'8 Redhead and the 5'10 Brunette play in the championship. The other 2 could possibly be sleepers.

I can tell the people that only believe in one brand of softball if all they do is go to VTD to determine how well a team has performed. I am not the one picking the Rampage to win tourney's, so there are some that think they have what it takes....and if there are doubters...oh well, can't make everyone happy. All I know is the Rampage has shown a huge improvement the 2nd half of the year. I can't imagine them going backwards at this point from the talent that I have seen. I'm not saying that they will go out and dominate everyone they play because I don't see one '99 team that is even capable of doing that in North Texas. We will just have to wait and see what teams mature the best, or add that very special player/s before the May and June of next year.

Oh and by the way, that was a nice line-up redneck surfer!!!LOL

i guess from the last couple of pages this has turned into a 10U n texas thread. who the hell is rampage anyways?? what about cobras, phantomz, edge, crossfire, austins finest (who????) ect...???? ain't no s texas people gonna reply on here?? how can we southerner's get some of the n texas teams butts??

all the teams listed on the poll above are s texas teams except rampage and the finest

i hear the cobras are gonna kick everyones butt.... we'll see.... my money is on tps and edge.. haha, jk. seriously, if the rain stays away, we'll see how some of these teams look this weeekend in sugarland.

i look forward to seeing some good 10u softball in the coming months, i just wish the new 10u people had the balls that the 98's did when they were talking all that smack when they were 10u... of course, that is where all the no it all's are and in a way i am kind of glad they are gone.. bunch of wind pipes beating their chests!!!

hey redrocker, angel99 don't know what they are talking about so don't ask their opinion... they only know angel ball baby and it ain't going to be pretty, that's if they can keep their ship straight and keep some players around... hahahehehaha :o :o

i seen a girl throwing smoke tonight for the phantomz. don't know for sure who she is or where she came from, but she throws hard.
