hey redrocker, angel99 don't know what they are talking about so don't ask their opinion... they only know angel ball baby and it ain't going to be pretty, that's if they can keep their ship straight and keep some players around... hahahehehaha :o :o

besides redrocker, what did i say to offend you? i guess you are just so smart, you felt the need to tell me to find a houston page. this is a houston page as far as i can tell, unless there are not enough quality teams from n texas to fill out a poll and that is why rampage is the only team on this poll :o

now, if you were to ask me who the better teams are from the south i would have to say that everybody "thinks" the Cobras are the team to beat. the phantomz lost a pitcher and a catcher for two different reasons, so they may not be where they had hoped because of that. crossfire may be a sleeper and edge has a lot of second year players.

maybe somebody else can put in a few words about some of the other teams from this area??

well outofnowhere up in the DFW we could care less about Houston. Just like you could care less about DFW. The teams harldy ever cross paths. I've seen alot of those teams play from there. If you would go back I never knocked any of them. I stated in the metroplex not the great bayou city. I know about the cobra's.
So if you have more remarks about my thoughts go ahead, hell Im a big boy I can handle them.

There has been some talk of trying to organize an invitational only tourney for all of the Houston, DFW and teams in between that think they are top ten material. I bet some of the teams on the list or not on the list would be no shows.

You could turn it into to a series, like the "Lone Star Shootout Series". That is the only way to determine who the top teams in Texas really are on an annual basis.

The only thing to determine is the brand to play. Maybe have one ASA tourney in N. Texas and one USFA tourney in Houston area. You could make it a 5 or 6 game gaurantee so that everyone gets to play plenty of gamees against plenty of good competition. The main thing that will come out of it is Texas teams getting better.

Sure am glad I live in West Texas. I dont feel the need to decipher Grandmasters posts, or defending my belief that DDs team is the best in Texas (although it is my favorite). My main concerns are getting DD to practice on time, and cheering for the team during the game.

Sure the girls play ball out here. No grass and lots of dirt, they can spread the cow chips out and play most anywhere, as long as it dosent conflict with the Friday night lights
